KATHMANDU, Oct. 8 (Xinhua)-- An ultra light aircraft with a pilot and a passenger on board went missing in Kaski district of western Nepal on Thursday, officials said.
Local media reported that the aircraft went missing from Pokhara Airport since 10:35 a.m. on Thursday.
According to officials at the Pokhara Airport, the pilot has been identified as Valerie Putin, a 50-year-old Russian national. While Elizabeth Well, 40, a South African national, was on board the aircraft.
The ultra light journey is popular among foreign tourists in Pokhara, a beautiful lake city in western Nepal, located some 200 kilometers west of capital Kathmandu.
