Senior U.S. envoy to visit China

BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit China from Oct. 8 to 10, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said Wednesday.

Blinken is visiting at the invitation of Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui, Hong told a regular press briefing.
