BEIJING, Sept. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese president Xi Jinping has met with Australian billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch in Beijing. The meeting comes ahead of Xi's state visit to the United State in September.
Xi said China and the United States are important countries in the world, and share broad common interest and potentials for cooperation. Xi said both countries seek to build a new relationship, based on the concept of non-conflict, mutual trust and respect. He added that both sides will boost bilateral cooperation in regional and global issues.
