FUZHOU, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- More than 100 people, mostly children, have been hospitalized after a commercial building in east China's Fujian Province caught fire on Wednesday.
The fire broke out around 11:27 a.m. in the Juchi Plaza in Ningde City.
Firefighters and residents managed to pull out all the children trapped in a kindergarten on the second floor of the building, but many of them were hurt. A total of 104 people, 92 kids and 12 adults, were taken to hospital for observation or treatment.
The fire was put out at midday.
No deaths were reported. Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze.
