BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- A Kongjing-2000 AEWC aircraft, escorted by eight J-10 fighters, flew over Tian'anmen Square in central Beijing Thursday morning, kicking off China's largest-ever air force display in a military parade.
The J-10 fighters from the People's Liberation Army's Bayi Aerobatics Team left colorful smoke trails in the sky over the square, prompting applause from tens of thousands of spectators on the square.
