SHANGHAI, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) ---- Shanghai Disney unveiled on Tuesday the design of its parade float for the upcoming annual Shanghai Tourism Festival, a major event for the resort to bring experience to Chinese people less than a year before its opening.
The main float "Igniting the Dream" will be joined by six carts to showcase the six themed lands at the theme park in Shanghai during the tourism festival slated to open on Sept. 12.
A joyful troop of Disney cast members will lead the way, dancing to the melody of "Welcome Home" during the grand opening parade of the festival. The main float features a giant Chinese lantern at the front and takes the form of the resort' s iconic Enchanted Storybook Castle.
