HONG KONG, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Taiwan's share prices closed up 0.34 percent on Thursday with the weighted index up 28.36 points at 8,311.74, according to news reaching here from Taipei.
Turnover totaled 87.41 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 2.71 billion U.S. dollars) during the trading session.
