NEW YORK, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks tumbled Tuesday, as China's currency yuan fell drastically in value following a central bank decision to improve the yuan's central parity system that aims to better reflect its market exchange rate against the U. S. dollar.
The Dow dropped over 1.2 percent, and the S&P 500 lost 1.0 percent, while the Nasdaq plunged 1.3 percent.
