MOSCOW, July 27 (Xinhua) -- A Ukrainian border guard opened fire on three Russian tourists taking a selfie on the border, a representative of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB)'s border department said Sunday, according to Russian state-owned news agency Sputnik.
The incident took place Sunday night at a checkpoint of Krasna Talovka border crossing in eastern Ukraine. When the three tourists tried to take a selfie near the border with the background of the checkpoint, a Ukrainian guard opened fire to stop them.
One of the men was wounded with a single gunshot in his chest and was taken to hospital. The other two were unscathed.
The shooting incident is currently under investigation by Russian Federal Security Service.
