HONG KONG, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks dropped 253.81 points, or 0.99 percent, to close on Wednesday at 25,282.62 points.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 25,177.6 and 25, 401.79. Turnover totaled 81.73 billion HK dollars (10.55 billion U. S. dollars).
