HONG KONG, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Taiwan's share prices closed lower Wednesday with the weighted index down 87.26 points, or 0.96 percent, to close at 8,918.7, according to news reaching here from Taipei.
Turnover totaled 77.92 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 2.5 billion U.S. dollars).
