SINGAPORE, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 28.97 points, or 0.86 percent, to close at 3,320.90.
A total of 1.18 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 925.7 million Singapore dollars (688.1 million U.S. dollars).
Decliners outnumbered gainers 256 to 181, while 526 others finished unchanged.
The STI index lost 1.46 points, or 0.04 percent, to close at 3, 349.97 on Thursday.
