BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese government has decided to send a third batch of aid relief to Nepal to assist the Nepalese government in responding to secondary disasters ensued by earthquakes, according to the website of China's Ministry of Commerce.
The aid relief includes tarpaulins, tents and family health kits worth some 80 million RMB (12.9 million U.S. dollars).
The ministry said it has been working closely with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Health and Family Planning Commission, and the Red Cross Society of China so as to come up with a plan to transport the goods to Nepal's capital Kathmandu as soon as possible.
The Chinese government has already provided two batches of humanitarian aid relief to Nepal hit by frequent earthquakes since April 25.
