NEW YORK, April 22 (Xinhua) -- A passenger plane, which was originally scheduled to fly from Chicago to Connecticut, was forced to make an emergency landing in Buffalo, New York on Wednesday after the crew reported a pressurization problem and one passenger lost consciousness, CNN reported, quoting aviation officials.
The SkyWest Airlines Flight 5622 reportedly descended 28,000 feet (about 8.5 km) in about three minutes. The reason of the plane's pressurization problem is under investigation.
It remains unclear how many passengers were on aboard the plane when the accident occurred. An earlier report said the plane was United Express Flight 5622.
