Malaysia to list priorities to streamline ASEAN Community formation

BEIJING, April 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman said lately Malaysia will list eight priorities for all ASEAN member countries to streamline the formation of an integrated ASEAN Community by the end of 2015.

Anifah Aman said it's ASEAN members' priorities to draw post-2015 blueprint of the ASEAN Community covering 633 million people, bring about closer relations, strengthen the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, expand trade and investment among ASEAN countries, strengthen ASEAN institutions, promote regional peace and security, and enhance the international and social roles of ASEAN.

These priorities will be issued at the 26th ASEAN Summit by Malaysia, the ASEAN rotating president this year.
