BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhuanet) -- The Malaysian government has decided to enlarge the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park, according to Malaysian Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai.
The park, currently covering 1,200 acres, will be added 5,000 acres. Besides, the government is actively accelerating infrastructure construction work, and building Kuantan deep-water port.
Liow Tiong Lai believed that these measures will further promote bilateral trade and investment development.
The Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park is the first state-level high-end industrial park. The park has attracted 8 billion Ringgit investment and is expected to create 8,500 jobs.
