JINAN, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Police in east China's Shandong Province busted a drug ring that sold drugs online and operated across Shandong and the southwest province of Sichuan, local police announced on Thursday.

Police arrested seven suspects, seizing 15 kilograms of methamphetamine as well as the raw materials and equipment for drug production.

In January, police started tracking a drug dealer in Shandong's Jinan City who had been actively purchasing drugs online and selling them in Jinan. Three suspects of the gang were arrested on Jan. 27 in Jinan.

The suspects gave police information that led to the arrest of the other gang members in Sichuan at the beginning of February. Three meth labs were also discovered at the same time.
