KHOST, Afghanistan, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- A group of suicide bombers stormed a police academy in Afghan Khost provincial capital Khost city on Wednesday, a local official said.
"One blast rocked the city and gun battle continues around the police academy," a local official said but declined to be named, saying authorized officials would brief the media after investigation.
Meantime, eye witnesses at the site said they saw two injured police been taking to hospitals.
The area has been cordoned off by security personnel.
