BEIJING, Feb. 8 -- A woodcut print exhibition titled "Tibetan Jampa" will be held at the "Bridge Art Space" in Beijing 798 Art Zone on March 6, with more than 60 pieces of works by 12 Tibetan artists on show.
The exhibition reflects Tibetan people's spiritual outlooks by showing their daily life and religious life.
"Jampa" means woodcut print in the Tibetan language. The pigments for "Jampa" are made from natural minerals and raw materials taken from plants on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The paper is handmade which is antiseptic, mothproofing and dampproof.
