BEIJING, Feb. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- A grand artist performance will be held jointly by Tibet's three major professional art troupes in the Dzongyab Lukhang Park in Lhasa, on the first day of the traditional Chinese New Year and the Tibetan New Year.
Both festivals fall on Feb. 14 this year and Tibetans will have a ten-day holiday.

The three art troupes are the Tibet Autonomous Regional Song and Dance Troupe, the Tibetan Opera Troupe and the Drama Troupe.
The two-hour performance is expected to rich the cultural life of the local residents during the festivals and create a happy and harmonious atmosphere, according to the Tibet Autonomous Regional Culture Department.
"The performance will include the popular art forms such as dramas, songs and dances," said a leading official of the department.
Meanwhile, the three art troupes and troupes of Tibet's prefectures and cities will also perform in the rural areas during the holiday.
