PORT-AU-PRINCE, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- An aftershock was felt in Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince on Sunday following Tuesday's 7.3-magnitude earthquake.
Xinhua journalists in Haiti felt an aftershock at around 3:40 a.m. (0840 GMT) on Sunday, which broke the window glass at the campus of the Chinese peacekeeping police.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) detected at least 14aftershocks registering 5 or above on the Richter scale and 42 above 4.4 since Tuesday.
The most strongly felt aftershock occurred at 10:59 a.m. (1559 GMT) on Saturday, said the USGS on its website on Sunday.
