BELGRADE, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic ordered Friday an urgent withdrawal of its ambassador to Montenegro Zoran Lutovac, and invited him for consultations in Belgrade over the decision of the Montenegrin authorities to establish diplomatic relations with Kosovo.
The Serbian Foreign Ministry lodged a strong protest to the Montenegrin government official in Belgrade concerning the establishment of diplomatic relations with the "interim institutions in Pristina", the Ministry said in a statement.
"By establishing diplomatic relations with Pristina, the Montenegrin government is disrupting the regional stability and hampering the building of the best possible neighborly relations, which is the priority of the government of Serbia," the statement reads.
