¡¡MADRID, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- An 83rd minute free kick from Atletico Madrid winger Simao Sabrosa gave his side a thrilling 5-1win against Recreativo Huelva to overturn a 3-0 deficit from the first leg and qualify for the quarterfinals of the King's Cup.

Atletico had taken a 4-0 lead thanks to two goals from Kun Aguero, Simao and Ufalusi, but Carlos Carmona's 72md minute strike had threatened to knock Atletico out on away goals before Simao's moment of magic.

Needing three goals to at least take the game into extra time, Atletico tore into their second division rivals from the kick off.

The visitors held firm for 20 minutes before Simao opened the scoring from a Forlan pass. The Uruguayan opened up the right flank and sent a pinpoint ball into the six yard box.

Three minutes later Forlan appeared on the left and crossed for Aguero to make it 2-0 on the night.

Atletico took their foot off the gas for a while after that but with six minutes left in the half, Ufalusi headed home the third from a Simao corner to level the aggregate score.

Aguero's second of the night, which took a deflection off a Recreativo defender after 62 minutes, qualified Atletico mathematically for the last eight, but then Carmona's close range finish again tipped the balance Recreativo's way.

Things got even better for the visitors when Pablo Assuncao wassent off for a second yellow card, but Simao's free kick saw Atletico through to universal celebrations in the Calderon.
