University professor killed in bombing in Tehran: TV
TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- A university professor was killed Tuesday in a bombing in Tehran, local English-language Press TV reported.
According to the report, Dr. Massoud Ali-Mohammadi, professor of the Tehran University was killed by a remote control bomb attached to a motorbike. Full story
Iran accuses U.S., Israel of assassinating nuclear scientist
TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday accused the United States and Israel of assassinating its nuclear scientist in a rare bomb attack in Tehran.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehman-Parast said that there are traces of U.S. and Israeli involvement in the Tehran bomb attack earlier in the day, the state IRIB TV reported. Full story
Iranian speaker says Israel, CIA behind nuclear scientist assassination
TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani Wednesday accused Israel and the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of assassinating its nuclear scientist in a rare bomb attack in Tehran, the local ISNA news agency reported.
"We have received obvious information over recent days that Zionist regime's (Israeli) intelligence service and CIA were seeking terrorist attacks in Tehran," Larijani was quoted as saying. Full story
Terrorist group claims responsibility for Iran nuclear physicist death: report
TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- A terrorist group named "Iran Royal Association" took responsibility for Tuesday's fatal bombing attack on an Iranian nuclear physicist, local Iran Daily reported Wednesday.
The Iran Royal Association, a group seeking to reestablish the Pahlavi reign in Iran, announced Tuesday in a statement that its " Tondar Commandos" were behind the assassination of Massoud Ali-Mohammadi, a particle physics professor in Tehran University, according to the report. Full story
