UNITED NATIONS, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.N. Development Program (UNDP) has 38 staff members unaccounted for in Haiti in the wake the devastating earthquake, UNDP chief Helen Clark told reporters here Wednesday.
Clark, the UNDP administrator, made the statement as she was speaking to reporters here shortly after U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said that hundreds are feared dead in the wake of the strong earthquake, which led to the collapse of the U.N. headquarters building in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti.
