RIO DE JANEIRO, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian soccer team Flamengo on Monday rejected the transfer tax that CSKA is demanding for striker Vagner Love's trade between Palmeiras and Flamengo.

The drama surrounding Love's request to leave Palmeiras came to an end on Sunday as Love was released from his contractual loan and is expected to play for Flamengo until June 30.

Flamengo's refusal to pay the undisclosed tax for Love's transfer keeps the situation up in the air. As for now, the striker remains with the Palmeiras pre-season training.
