JAKARTA, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that she is ready to attend the parliamentary session on Wednesday to explain banking bailout policy taken on Bank Century worth 6.7 trillion rupiah (670 million U.S. dollars), the Antara news agency reported on Monday.

"Yes, I am ready," said the minister responding reporters' question on her readiness to come to parliamentary building.

The parliamentary special committee handling the case is scheduled to summon the minister on Wednesday after Vice President Boediono on Tuesday.

When the policy was taken, Sri Mulyani was finance minister and head of the Financial Stability Committee.

Critics said the policy posed financial risks on the country's finance.
