RIO DE JANEIRO, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Brazil's Internacional soccer team announced on Thursday its retention of midfielder Glaydson who was at the club in 2009 on a loan from Sao Caetano.
As soon as the 2009 season came to an end, Glaydson left Porto Alegre and returned to the Sao Paulo team Sao Caetano. However, he was considered to be a firm part of the Internacional team, leading to the club's desire to hold on to him in 2010.
According to Internacional's vice-president Fernando Carvalho, Glaydson will be at Internacional for another full year on an extended loan.
Glaydson was mainly used as a reserve player, but the club has high hopes for him in 2010, hoping to develop his potential.
