BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- China's Minister of Commerce Chen Deming, as the special envoy of the Chinese government, will attend the inauguration of Mozambique's president-elect Armando Guebuza from Jan. 13 to 14 at the invitation of Mozambique's government.

    Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu made the announcement here Thursday.

    Guebuza first came to power as president in 2005, and won re-election last November.
