CANBERRA, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Spain sailed into the Hopman Cup final after breezing past hosts Australia with a perfect 3-0 on Thursday.

    Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez dismantled Sam Stosur 6-4, 6-1 and Tommy Robredo overcame Lleyton Hewitt 6-2, 6-4.

    Sanchez and Robredo then outplayed the Australians 6-3, 3-6, 10/7 in the mixed doubles to clinch a final spot in the mixed team event.

    Spain, winners in 1990 and 2002, will take on the winners of the other round-robin group.
