TOKYO, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 91 yen zone early Wednesday in Tokyo, down slightly from its levels overnight in New York.

    At 9 a.m., the dollar fetched 91.57-62 yen against 91.67-77 yen in New York and 91.88-91 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

    The euro traded at 1.4363-4366 dollars and 131.52-55 yen compared with 1.4361-4371 dollars and 131.67-77 yen in New York and 1.4452-4455 dollars and 132.81-85 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday.
