TOKYO, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 92 yen level early Monday in Tokyo.

    The dollar bought 92.73-75 yen, compared with 92.95-93.05 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Thursday.

    The euro was quoted at 1.4315-4317 dollars and 132.76-81 yen, against 1.4319-4329 dollars and 133.15-25 yen late Thursday.
