Two home-made bombs explode in different banks in Mexico

    MEXICO CITY, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) - Two home-made bombs exploded on Thursday in banks of the municipalities of Toluca and Metepec in the State of Mexico, center of the country, causing damages inside and outside the buildings, the police said.

    The police of the State of Mexico said that the home-made bombs exploded at 3:18 a.m. local time (0918 GMT), in the banks Banocomer and Banamex, without causing injuries.

    The first bomb exploded in Bancomer branch in Toluca, capital of the State of Mexico, some 400 meters from the General Prosecutor's Office of Justice of the State of Mexico.

    This explosion broke the windows of the bank, destroyed the ATM area and made 10 lamps to fall down.

    The other explosion was in Banamex branch in Metepec, some 300 meters from the General Director of Public Security building and the Public Ministry Agency.
