TOKYO, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar firmed in the upper 91 yen zone Tuesday morning in light trading.

    At noon, the dollar fetched 91.69-70 yen versus 91.59-69 yen in New York and 91.50-52 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday.

    The euro traded at 1.4359-4361 dollars and 131.67-69 yen against late Monday's quotes of 1.4373-4383 dollars and 131.72-82 yen in New York and 1.4381-4383 dollars and 131.59-63 yen in Tokyo.
