SHIJIAZHUANG, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- A man on Monday killed seven relatives and injured another four over family disputes and committed suicide before the police in north China's Hebei Province, local police said.
Chen Qian, about 30, allegedly murdered six people of his uncle's family with blunt weapons in Qinghe County and left the scene for the home of another relative, Chen Youmin, police said.
He injured four of Chen's family with a hunting rifle, police said.
The suspect jumped off a building and killed himself as more than 100 policemen were trying to arrest him at about 10 a.m.
He was believed to commit the violence to take revenge over family disputes, police said.
