YANGON, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- A joint international puppet show of European and African countries, aimed at boosting cultural exchange and strengthening mutual friendship, will be launched in Myanmar's former capital Yangon next month, sources with the French embassy said on Monday.

The show at the French Embassy Alliance Francaise on Jan. 23 will be performed by local and international artists and puppet players, the sources said.

The puppet show will be played on a story featuring the possible danger which human beings could encounter in the future, triggered by developing science and technology and environment, it added.

Meanwhile, under another cultural exchange program, the French embassy organized a one-man guitar concert of a French classical guitarist Thibault Cauvin in Yangon in September and music concerts by the two world's famous Jazz musicians, Franck Me'dioni and Pianist Stephan Oliva of France in February.
