SAN JOSE, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Costa Rican cyclist Jose Adrian Bonilla of Citibank-Economy Rent a Car-Blue team won the 11th stage of the Costa Rican International Tour on Sunday.
Bonilla finished the 30.3 kilometers stage in Perez Zeledon community in 40 minutes and 22 seconds. He was followed by Costa Rican Gregory Brenes of BCR-Pizza Hut-KHS team with eight seconds behind.
Colombia's tour leader Janier Acevedo of Greatwall-Indeportes Antioquia was 13 seconds behind Bonilla, but still kept a wide advantage over other competitors on the general standings.
Acevedo leads the standings with a total of 30 hours, 43 minutes and 53 seconds, followed by Brenes and Julian Rodas.
The last stage of the Tour will start at Perez Zeledon community and finish at San Jose on Monday.
