NEW YORK, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- Dwyane Wade scored 30 points spearheading Miami Heat past New York Knicks 93-87 at one of the five Christmas competitions, snapping the Knicks' three-game winning streak on Friday.

Michael Beasley notched 13 of his 19 points in the second half for the Heat, who progressed to a comfortable lead by limiting New York to 31 points across the middle two quarters.

Jermaine O'Neal finished with 11 points and eight boards, making a jumper with 51 seconds left after Miami's double-digit lead had been sliced to three points in Knicks' last-gasp spurt.

Danilo Gallinari scored 26 points and David Lee had 19 points and 16 rebounds for the Knicks, who had a six-game home winning streak snapped and lost for just the third time in the latest 10 games overall.

The Knicks were playing in their NBA-leading 45th Christmas game, but their recent strong rally was spoiled by Heat at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks played an upbeat December journey in a record of 8-3, with only the Lakers, Celtics and Cavaliers had better records the month.

But the poor shooting on three-point attempts inflicted futility to the Knicks, who usually take the shot behind arc as a fatal weapon, going just 5 of 28 on 3-pointers and finishing with a season-low 11 assists.

Al Harrington, the leading scorer in Knicks, went off a under-par 5 of 20 shots in his 12-point underperformance.

Beasley had three buckets early in the fourth quarter that helped Miami open a 14-point lead, paving the way for Heat's victory. Wade followed up with a series of baskets and reestablished double-digit lead, score boarding 81-71 with around three minutes remaining.

The Christmas-purposed green jersey did not shake up form for Knicks, who managed lowly 14 points in the second quarter, one off their season low, nullifying 14 of their 16 3-point attempts in the first half.

The Heat scored the first six out of the break to open a 10-point lead on Wade's jumper, then pushed it to 52-41 when O'Neal converted a three-point play with 8:29 remaining in the third period.

With their offense stalled, it might have been a time for the Knicks to look for a spark from Nate Robinson, but he was benched for the 11th straight game.

Knicks center Eddy Curry is frustrated after getting himself back into playing shape, then quickly falling out of the rotation.
