KATHMANDU, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Parliamentary Committee for International Relations and Human Rights is starting a field inspection of the "encroached territory" of Nepal along the country's border with India from Friday.
According to nepalnews.com report, the committee will survey the encroached Nepali territory from Susta of Nawalparasi district to further east in Jhapa in eastern Nepal.
Two teams formed by the committee have already left for Susta where Nepal claims that a huge tract of its territory has been illegally encroached by India.
The parliamentary team comprises lawmakers, mapping officials and other experts.
The committee has said that it will finish the inspection work by Jan. 5, 2010 and make public submit its report.
