TOKYO, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar was quoted in the upper 91 yen range early Thursday in Tokyo, little changed from its levels overnight in New York.

    At 9 a.m., the dollar fetched 91.64-66 yen against 91.58-68 yen at 5 p.m. Wednesday in New York and 91.17-20 yen at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Tokyo. Japanese financial markets were closed Wednesday for a national holiday.

    The euro traded at 1.4334-4336 dollars and 131.36-39 yen versus 1.4333-4343 dollars and 131.29-39 yen late Wednesday in New York and 1.4306-4309 dollars and 130.45-49 yen late Tuesday in Tokyo.
