China wins aerials team competition in FIS World Cup

    CHANGCHUN, Northeast China, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- China won the aerials team competition Monday in the 2010 freestyle FIS World Cup that kicked off Saturday in northeast China's Changchun City, the capital of Jilin Province.

    China sent two teams to take part in the mixed team event as several participating groups did. The four-member Team A spearheaded by Li Nina who won silver at the 2006 Winter Olympics captured gold with the score of 422.582 points.

    China's Team B scored 412.811 points for the silver. Switzerland broke the host country's sweep by finishing third with388.596 points.

    The host country has won four golds of the five at stake in the first two legs of the 2010 freestyle FIS World Cup held in Changchun.
