BANGKOK, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) has found some five of the total24 volunteers have developed a cold-liked symptom after they were vaccinated with a nasal-spray-A/H1N1-influenza vaccine.

    However, the other 19 volunteers have appeared normal, Doctor Wichai Chokwiwat, chairman of the Government Pharmaceutical Organization, disclosed Tuesday, Thai News Agency reported.

    The GPO staff have been in the process to check if the nasal-spray-A/H1N1-influenza vaccine has still existed with the volunteers after they have been vaccinated since Dec. 18.

    The A/H1N1 vaccine, which was used with some 24 volunteers, is made in Thailand.

    This project is aimed to find out if the Thai-made vaccine is safe and to see an immunity level against the A/H1N1 virus, Doctor Wichai said earlier.

    Currently, Thailand's death toll from the A/H1N1 influenza contraction stands at 190.
