MEXICO CITY, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Mexico's ecology group Cinema Planeta announced Monday the program for the second International Environmental Film Festival in the southern Mexican city Cuernavaca in March next year.

    The festival's aim will be to motivate participants to fight against climate change and care about the environment, said the group.

    The group has invited Chinese director Wang Bin, who is famous for his 14-hour documentary "Crude Oil," famous French actress Isabelle Huppert, who was president of this year's Cannes Film Festival, and French-Swiss director Ursula Meier. Meier directed the film "Home," which starred Huppert.

    "Home" tells the story of how a family's idyllic countryside life is disrupted when a highway appears on their doorstep. It is one of 35 films which will make their debut at the festival.

    The festival will feature another film, also called "Home," by French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The film is composed of photos that show how humans are destroying their home planet.
