Brazilian soccer player infected with influenza A/H1N1

    RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Toulouse midfielder Luan has been confirmed to have contracted A/H1N1 virus on Sunday.

    The Brazilian player was unable to help his team in their last defeat to Montpellier in the French first division soccer league and is not expected to return any time soon.

    "Luan is at home receiving adequate care," said the team's headcoach Alain Casanova.

    As of Sunday, no other case from the team was reported.
