PYONGYANG, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Kim Jong Il, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), urged all sectors to develop science and technology in a bid to push forward the modernization of the country, the official KCNA said Thursday.
If "ideology and army" were combined with the latest science and technology, they would "bring about great changes in the revolution and construction" and the DPRK would turn into an "invincible powerful country," said Kim while inspecting the Kanggye General Tractor Plant in Jagang province.
