BANGKOK, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Government Housing Bank (GHB) is confident that the bank will be able to meet its 2009 lending target worth of 100 billion baht (3.0 billion U.S. dollars).
During the first 11 months of the year (January-November), the GBH bank's total lending approximately stood at 89 billion baht (2.6 billion U.S. dollars), said Khan Prachuabmoh, GHB president of the Government Housing Bank, Thai News Agency reported.
And, the GHB president said he believes within this December the bank's lending activity will remain good, which will enable the bank to meet the 2009 lending target.
