BAGHDAD, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- A total of 122 people were killed in violence in Iraq in November, the lowest monthly death toll since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, official figures showed Tuesday.
According to figures compiled by Iraqi ministries of interior, defense and health, a total of 122 people died as a result of violence last month across the country.
The figures showed that among the deaths, 88 were civilians, 22 were policemen and 12 were soldiers.
The ministries data also showed that 422 people were wounded last month, including 56 policemen and 22 soldiers.
On the other hand, the U.S. military announced that 11 of its soldiers were killed during November, the highest since June when 15 U.S. soldiers died.
