MOSCOW, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Russia is seriously concerned by Iran's plans to build 10 new uranium enrichment plants, the Interfax news agency quoted a foreign ministry source as saying on Monday.

    "Russia is seriously concerned about the latest statements of the Iranian leadership," the source was quoted as saying.

    Moscow hopes that Tehran will draw right conclusions from the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) resolution, which denounces Iran for conducting its nuclear program secretly near the central city of Qom, the source said.

    The IAEA board of governors passed a resolution on Friday, calling for the "full cooperation" of Iran to clarify all outstanding issues involving its nuclear program.

    The Iranian government Sunday ordered the country's Atomic Energy Organization to build 10 new uranium enrichment sites, saying the move aimed to produce more electricity in the future.
