Brazil to host last stage of FIA GT1 World Championship in 2010

    RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Interlagos Raceway in Sao Paulo, Brazil will stage the last race of the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship, organizers announced on Saturday.

    It will be the first time that the event is held on Brazilian soil.

    Six teams - Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Maserati and Nissan - are already confirmed to compete in the 2010GT Championship.

    The 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship will tour 12 different countries, starting in the United Arab Emirates, followed by South Africa, the Czech Republic, France, Canada, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Hungry, China and concluding in Brazil on November 28, 2010.
