LAGOS, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria will host the Africa Junior Tennis Championship next year, a local tennis official said on Saturday.

    "At least 16 courts will be constructed for the tournament," said Adeyemi Owoseni, vice president of the Nigeria Tennis Association.

    "We have started the construction works at the Abuja National Stadium to ensure that we meet the international standards," he added.

    The tournament is expected to attract a total of 200 players from African countries.
